Empowering people and communities is what Nicole Kieley does. She has two decades of work dedicated to anti-violence organizations, and is currently the Executive Director of the NL Sexual Assault Crises and Prevention Centre.
Along that route, Nicole was President of the Memorial University Graduate Students’ Union and the Executive Director for Women in Resource Development Corporation. She brings experience as a former Board Member for the Public Legal Information Association of Newfoundland and Labrador and Board Member of both the St. John’s Status of Women Council and Violence prevention Avalon East.
Nicole brings an academic component to her candidacy having completed a Master’s degree in Women’s Studies at Memorial University. In addition, her business background combines history and culture she gained from her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology. With Escape Quest, a successful escape room business she co-founded, Nicole has also displayed she has an entrepreneurial spirit.
Born and raised Mount Pearl, Nicole considers her hometown the roots of her commitment to community innovation, supporting people and public service.
